Anatoliy Potaychuk lived for football. He never allowed himself to miss a match, always putting his team first. A true legend of FC Katan (Babyntsi), he proudly wore the club’s jersey for nearly 20 years.

From the first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Anatoliy volunteered with the Kyiv Territorial Defense and later joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

He was killed in action during the fierce battles for the city of Izium in the Kharkiv region. Anatoliy was laid to rest in his hometown, the village of Babyntsi.
