A former student of the football department at Kamianets-Podilskyi Youth Sports School No. 2, Serhii Mykolaiovych Atlasov was a regional champion among boys during his youth.

Born in 1967, Serhii joined the army at the age of 16 as a cook for mandatory military service, where he served for five years.

In January 2023, he was mobilized and once again took on the role of cook — this time as a senior cook in the logistics department of an artillery division, using his long-standing skills to support Ukraine’s defenders.

On September 14, the heart of Serhii Atlasov stopped in the emergency hospital of Zaporizhzhia.
