Born in the village of Pukiv, Ivano-Frankivsk region, he graduated from the Rohatyn Vocational Technical School.

In his football career, he played for FC Pukiv and FC Pukiv Veterans. He was a two-time bronze medalist (1996, 2000) and a district cup finalist in 1997.

In 2015, he served in the 80th Air Assault Brigade, defending Ukraine. Following the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, he once again joined the country’s defense efforts.

He was killed in action on September 8, 2022, near Bakhmut, in the Donetsk region, while performing a combat mission.
