Born in Stara Ushytsia, Mykhailo Blazhey developed a passion for football from childhood. During his school years, he actively participated in football tournaments among educational institutions. He later played for the local team “Dnister,” eventually becoming its captain. Mykhailo was extremely dedicated to his work and took part in community championships and district competitions.

After finishing school, he enrolled at Kamianets-Podilskyi National University named after Ivan Ohiienko, studying in the Faculty of History. Since 2020, he worked as a driver-motorist at the Stara Ushytsia Rescue Station of the State Emergency Service.

On May 15, 2023, Mykhailo was killed as a result of shelling by Russian military forces near the settlement of Masyutivka in the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region.
