Born in the village of Kustin, Rivne region, Oleksandr graduated from Kustin Secondary School of I-III levels. After finishing school, he attended Vocational Technical School No. 1 in Rivne, where he trained as a builder.

Oleksandr was not only an athlete but also a creative individual; during his studies, he played in the brass band both at school and vocational school. He was married and had a son. Oleksandr also played for the local football club FC "Horyn.Kustin."

He passed away in Kyiv.
